Six different series, 100/1 to 4900/1 ratios High Torque ratings FRAN double reduction Worm and Gear Speed Reducers, are designed for extra low speeds, with the least possible friction loss, in the smallest space possible. This is acomplished with two sets of worm and wormgears, with the worms made of 4140 steel, ground and nitrided, accurate in their lead and with the lowest friction loss possible. They have alloy cast iron housings, offering rigidity and support, both to bearings and gear sets. The bearins are tapered roller bearings, allowing for high overhung loads as well as difficult applications.   MODELS FRAN double reduction worm and wormgear units can be supplied for horizontal or vertical work, with double input or output shaft, hollow shaft, motor flange, output flange, and many more combinations.
